With this approach the servers belong to you: they run in your own account with the cloud provider, and you pay the provider directly. The platform creates the servers via the provider’s API and sets them up automatically – including SSH keys, deploy access, and (with Hetzner) firewall and backups.
How it works
- Create API access: create an API token with the provider and store it in the platform under Servers → credentials.
- Create a server: add a new cloud server via Servers → add server – the platform creates it in your account and sets it up.
- Use it in a project: select the server when creating or editing a project.
Step-by-step tutorials
- Hetzner tutorial – generate an API token in the Hetzner Cloud Console and create a server.
- Hostinger tutorial – generate an API token in hPanel and create a VPS.
Tip
Don’t want your own cloud account? Then a managed server is the easier way – we take care of everything.
